Open Level doubles league
The open level doubles league works as follows:
This league can consist of any combination of male or female pairs, including mixed pairs. Thus an open level doubles team consisting of 6 players which can be any combination of men or ladies. No pair may be divided to complete the fixture. Rubbers not played because of an incomplete team will be forfeited to the opposing team. A team not comprising of three pairs will result in a total loss of points, rubbers, sets etc except where there are exceptional extrenuating circumstances. The league Committee will be the final arbiter.
Leagues
We play competitive badminton in the local Hull and District Badminton league which runs from the start of October to the end of April.
For the 2023 2024 season we had 6 teams. Their positions were as follows:
Level A team 3rd out of 5 teams in division 1
Level B team 1st out of 5 teams in division 2
Level C team 2nd out of 6 teams in division 4
Level D team 1st out of 6 teams in division 4
Mixed A team 3rd out of 6 teams in division 1
Mixed B team 5th out of 6 teams in division 1
